There’s a unique partnership at work at Fox Hill Village. A dedicated board of residents represents community wide opinions and concerns while an experienced team of managers is responsible for day-to-day operations and future development. Together, these two dedicated and passionate groups chart the success of our community.

The Board of Directors

The Board is comprised of nine people, who serve staggered, three-year terms. Most Board members are residents at Fox Hill, but the shareholders are able to, and have, elected outside members from time to time who bring expertise and skills to the Board. The Board defines the mission of the community, establishes key policies, oversees the fiscal affairs of the corporation, and hires and oversees the work of the Managing Director.

Barbara Clark

PRESIDENT

Ms. Barbara Clark hails from Scotia, New York, and received a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Rochester in 1968. During her career at Bank Boston, she managed several Corporate Banking Groups and Risk Management Departments prior to becoming Executive Vice President in charge of Global Financial Services. Ms. Clark and her husband Warren have resided at Fox Hill Village since 2014 and she has served on the Board since 2018. She has previously served on the Master Plan Committee and as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee and currently serves on the Compensation and Sales and Marketing Committees.

Patricia Reisert

VICE PRESIDENT

Ms. Reisert moved to Fox Hill in 2012 and joined the Board in 2016. She spent many years as an academic in the biological sciences. She taught at four colleges during her career and became the Chair of the Department of Natural Sciences at Assumption College. While there, she received an NSF grant to study immunology at UMass Medical School, where she did research on the Epstein Barr virus. Following her retirement, Ms. Reisert focused on strengthening the science preparation of elementary and secondary school teachers, and she volunteered in the Worcester public school system. Ms. Reisert has a PhD in biology from Brown University.

Heather Sawitsky

SECRETARY AND GENERAL COUNSEL

Ms. Sawitsky serves as General Counsel, Secretary of the Board, and Chief Sales Officer. Ms. Sawitsky brings experience from the Massachusetts General Hospital/Partners Healthcare System, Inc., and the law firm of Bingham, Dana & Gould. She has been a Fellow at THE GREEN HOUSE® Project and is on the Advisory Council of the Hastings Center, a bioethics research center that, among other areas, examines the ethical issues posed by aging, chronic conditions and end of life decisions. In 2018, Governor Charles Baker appointed her to the newly formed Advisory Council on Alzheimer Disease Research and Treatment. Ms. Sawitsky is a graduate of Smith College, Northeastern University School of Law, and Harvard School of Public Health, where she received a Masters in Health Policy.

Henry Beaudet

Mr. Beaudet and his wife Joyce moved to Fox Hill and he joined the Board in 2018. He is a CPA and served as a tax specialist at Arthur Andersen & Co. Upon leaving Arthur Andersen, he assumed top tax executive positions at Itek Corp, Foxboro Company and Connell Ltd. Ptsp. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Mr. Beaudet served as President of the New England Chapter of Tax Executives Institute and was active in several tax organizations. At Fox Hill, he has served on the Finance Committee, the 401(k) Committee and is chair of the Pool (Billiards) Enterprise. He earned a BS in Business Administration from Northeastern University.

Daniel Fitch

Mr. Daniel Fitch earned his BA from Williams College and his MBA from New York University; he is also a graduate of The Stonier School of Banking.  Before beginning his business career, Dan served in the U.S. Navy for two years as an officer on a destroyer escort.  After being discharged, he joined the training program at The Grace National Bank in New York City. He worked for Marine Midland Bank (formerly Grace National Bank) in New York, becoming an Executive Vice President and Chair of its Credit Committee. His volunteer work included serving on the Scarsdale, New York Board of Education and as a Vestry member and Finance Committee Chair for St. James the Less in Scarsdale, New York. He and his wife Carol moved to Fox Hill in 2013 and Dan joined the Board in 2020. Mr. Fitch has served on the Welcoming Committee, the Nominating Committee and as Chair of the 401(k) Committee.

Robert Forsberg

Mr. Robert  Forsberg who moved to Fox Hill in 2017, was the founder of two and the CEO of three corporations in the electronics industry. He and his late wife Jane were very involved in ARC, an organization that supports children and adults with developmental disabilities. Mr. Forsberg graduated from Bowdoin College, received an MBA from Northeastern University, and completed the Owner President Manager Program at the Harvard Business School. He served for many years on the boards of Old Colony YMCA and Beckett- Chimney Corners YMCA camp. Mr. Forsberg has served on the Finance Committee and the Master Plan Committee, and he joined the Fox Hill Board in May 2020.

Nancy Hebard

Ms. Hebard moved to Fox Hill in 2014, and she joined the Board in 2019. She has been involved in education for many years, first as a teacher, then as a Director of Admissions, and finally as Head of the Lower Division of an independent school in Hockessin, Delaware. Ms. Hebard was an active volunteer with the Junior League of Philadelphia, serving as its President in 1986-1987, and subsequently serving as the Regional Nominating Chairman for the Association of Jr. Leagues International. She was Chairman of Volunteers for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Red Cross. Ms. Hebard earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University and her Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.

Eli Manchester

Mr. Manchester moved to Fox Hill in 2006 and joined the Board in 2014. He was the President and CEO of BIW Cable Corporation, a public NASDAQ manufacturing corporation, from 1970-1989 at which time the company was sold. He then became President and CEO of Kewaunee Scientific Corporation, another public NASDAQ manufacturing corporation from 1990-2000, and continued as the Chairman of the Board until his retirement in 2009. Mr. Manchester was a trustee and is currently a trustee emeritus of Cornell University. He has served on numerous boards in the Boston area, including New England Deaconess Hospital, Boston Biomedical Research Institute, Derby Academy, The Home Savings Bank and as board chairman of Dean College. Mr. Manchester graduated with a BME degree from Cornell University and received an MS in business from Columbia University.

Karen Metcalf

Ms. Metcalf moved to Fox Hill in 2014 and joined the Board in 2017. She was a portfolio manager at Scudder, Stevens & Clark for twelve years and was appointed Vice President for Finance & Administration at the New Community Trust, the community foundation of New York, which has more than $2 billion in assets under management. Ms. Metcalf received a BA from Vassar College and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Harry "Skip" Wells

Mr. Wells has lived in Westwood for over 50 years, serving as the Chair of the Town’s Finance Committee, the Chair of Westwood’s Long Range Planning Committee, and a Senior Warden at St. John’s Episcopal Church.  He spent most of his professional career at Adams, Harkness and Hill, an institutional research firm, as a Wall Street Analyst, Director of Research, and Hedge Fund Manager.  Mr. Wells served on its Board of Directors and was a Managing Partner. His main charitable involvement has been with The Home for Little Wanderers, where he served as Chairman of the Board.  During his tenure, the Home doubled its endowment and quadrupled in size.  Mr. Wells started a charity golf tournament for the Home, which has netted almost $5 million over the past 25 years.

The Executive Management Team

TONY A. AMICO

Managing Director

Mr. Amico became the Managing Director of Fox Hill in 2000, and manages a staff of 200, providing flawless service and support to its residents.  Mr. Amico has overseen the construction of White Oak Cottages and the construction of the new Baker West wing.  A graduate of University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Mr. Amico held leadership positions with Americana, Princess, Hyatt and Sheraton hotels prior to coming to Fox Hill Village.

ROBERT KELLY

Director of Resident Services

Mr. Kelly joined the Fox Hill Village team in 1999, and has over 35 years of management experience in the hospitality and senior living industries.  A graduate of New Hampshire College, he and his excellent team are responsible for resident programming and services and resident orientation.

CHITRA SHARMA

Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Sharma joined Fox Hill Village in February 2021 as the Chief Financial Officer. Chitra leads the finance, accounting, risk management operations and Information Technology. She is responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial and Information Technology related activities for the organization.

Ms. Sharma has over 20 years of accounting/finance experience specializing in for-profit, non-profit organizations. Additionally, Ms. Sharma has public accounting experience while working for two national firms. Prior to joining Fox Hill Village, Ms. Sharma was the Chief Financial Officer for a private college in the Boston area. Ms. Sharma brings a wealth accounting experience in the field of Independent and Assisted Living, Memory Care, Nursing Homes, Real Estate Development, Higher Education and Health and Human Services.

Ms. Sharma received her MBA with concentration in Business Analytics from Bentley University in Waltham, MA.

SARAH ANNE POMPEO

Director of Sales and Marketing

Ms. Pompeo joined Fox Hill Village in 2019. She is a graduate of Saint Anselm College and has a Masters of Business Administration from the Simmons School of Management.  She has over 25 years of management experience in the senior living industry with extensive background in sales and business operations.

CINDI FULLER

Director of Food and Beverage

Ms. Fuller joined Fox Hill Village in 2016 and brings more than 20 years’ experience in food and beverage management in restaurants throughout the Boston area.  She manages all dining venues at Fox Hill Village, and successfully exceeds resident expectations for developing new and diverse menus and service options.

IVANA DOUCET

Director of Human Resources

Ms. Doucet joined Fox Hill Village in 2019. She has more than 25 years of senior management experience in Human Resources, previously serving as a Human Resource Leader and Coach in the hospitality/food service, non-profit, healthcare and high-tech industries.  Ms. Doucet graduated from American International College and earned a certificate in Human Resource Management from Assumption College

RAY SEYMOUR

Director of Engineering

Mr. Seymour joined Fox Hill Village in 2015, and has extensive management experience in construction, maintenance and property management, including work for numerous major hotel chains. He is responsible for the impeccable maintenance of over 700,000 square feet of buildings on Fox Hill’s property.

JACINTA MURPHY

Director of Healthcare Services

Ms. Murphy, R.N., joined Fox Hill Village in 1997, having held staff nursing positions in local hospitals and skilled nursing facilities.  Ms. Murphy is a graduate of Massasoit Community College.  In 2015 Ms. Murphy assumed the role of Director of Healthcare Services, overseeing all healthcare operations throughout Fox Hill Village’s continuum of care.
