The Job:
We are seeking a full-time (32+ hours) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at our premier senior living community to perform multiple care duties that contribute to the health, well-being, and quality of life for our residents.
The CNA is responsible to provide personal care services/ activities of daily living, medication reminders, and light housekeeping to a elderly residents at Birch Grove, the assisted living residence of Fox Hill Village.
You must have weekend availability.
Duties:
- Provides personal care assistance (baths, dressing, toileting, etc.) in a professional manner while allowing the resident to maintain their dignity.
- Observes/documents resident status and reports to nurse and next shift CNAs any changes in resident status.
- Any task requested by management that helps to ensure resident safety and security.
- Communicates effectively with residents.
- Maintains clean environment by performing light housekeeping duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Assist in safe transfer and ambulation.
- Participates in safe delivery of medication reminders thru SAMM.
- Personal laundry for residents
- Responds promptly to radio calls.
- Is aware of and practices reasonable infection control procedures.
- Communicates ideas/issues to supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety policies including reporting on all incidents immediately.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
- Previous experience providing personal care services to the elderly
- Assisted Living Experience preferred

The Job:
We are seeking a full-time Therapeutic Program Manager to join our team at our Memory Care residence known as White Oak Cottages. The ideal candidate will have a certification and/or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institute in Recreational Therapy (CTRS), Music Therapy (MT-BC), Art Therapy (ATR, ATR-BC, ATR-P LPAT), or similar field.
Reporting to the Assisted Living Admin/Guide, the Therapeutic Program Manager is responsible for the planning and implementation of programs that are meaningful and engaging for the residents of White Oak Cottages. You will assist in providing both group and individual activities designed to support the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident, encouraging interaction in the community.
This is an on-site role at our campus in Westwood, MA.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Create and implement activities related to gross motor activities, self-care activities, social activities, and sensory and memory enhancement activities for residents.
- Work with Guide to complete a profile of each resident; and identify activities and enrichment tools that each resident would enjoy.
- Review the profile for each new resident prior to move-in and create a plan to welcome and integrate the resident into the activities program beginning on move-in day.
- Plan individual/personalized, small group, and large group experiences by reviewing residents’ profiles and finding common needs and interests.
- Assist staff in determining if any enrichment items are necessary as new residents move in and interest change among the current population and work with the administrator to procure those items.
- Ensure the safety of all White Oak Cottages residents participating in programs both inside and outside the cottages.
- Work with outside entertainment vendors to ensure their invoices are received and submitted to the Guide.
Job Requirements:

The Job:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will report to both the Director of Engineering and Facilities Manager and assist the Maintenance team with maintaining the facility and grounds.
The Maintenance Technician will perform preventive maintenance on vital equipment, work on grease pumps, change out small and large motors on air handlers and exhaust systems, and troubleshoot small HVAC equipment in apartments such as thermostats, baseboard heat actuators and valves.
A wide range of mechanical ability is needed to best serve our residents’ needs. The candidate must have knowledge of general building mechanical systems, inspections of boilers, chillers and fire safety apparatus.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Ability to receive, organize and prioritize tasks / work orders through tablet-based software, texts, radio, and verbal communications from supervisors and residents.
- Ability to make minor plumbing repairs such as disposal and dishwasher replacements, kitchen and bath faucet repair, clear clogged sinks, and toilet drains.

- Assist with the recruitment process for new staff, i.e. job postings, scheduling interviews, set up of orientation material, running of background checks.
- Process bi-weekly payroll through the Paychex system, accurately and on time, and manage payroll records.

- Assist in designing, implementing, and administering of policies; responds to inquiries regarding policies.

Serve as a resource to managers and employees regarding benefit program questions.
- Administer the leave process for all LTD, PFML and FMLA leave. Track absences and work with and support managers and employees through the process.
- Assists the managers and supervisors with the administration of annual performance reviews for hourly team members .
- Assist the Director of Human Resources in their responsibility for adherence to employment law, in addition to ensuring compliance with FMLA, ADA, FLSA and other applicable areas of employment law.
- Manage all paperwork and compliance including background checks, medical paperwork, I-9s, etc. and maintain employee records and HR databases.
- Respond to employee inquiries, processes verifications of employment request, and assists with other employee related matters.
- Filing, scanning, and shredding.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in human resource management or business or another related field.
- Familiarity with Word, Excel, Paychex, and benefits administration software.
- Experience as an HR Generalist, preferably within the healthcare industry.

The Job:
We are seeking a Server to provide exceptional service to our residents and their guests in our Main Dining Room, Café, and private dining room. In addition to providing service, you will also be responsible for the set-up of station prior to shift, maintain orders in station and clean up and proper re-setting at the end of shift.
Duties:
- Be ready for scheduled shift, well groomed, in full uniform (black dress pants and proper work shoes) including name tag and tie.
- Complete assigned daily side work prior to beginning floor work/completion of shift. Check table assignments and ensure they are properly set.
- Greet guests at tables in a professional and hospitable manner, assure they have menus and obtain order while being attentive to resident/guest needs at all times.
